Scientific research is concentrated in the research program Marketing (part of the SOM research school), which consistently obtains very high ratings in research evaluations. Contract research, in turn, is conducted within the RUG Customer Insights Center and the Groningen Digital Business Center, which both form a bridge between science and practice.
