Part-Time Research Assistant (DRIVEN 2)

 

The Danish Centre for Motivation and Behaviour Science (DRIVEN) and the Research Unit for Learning & Talent in Sport (LET’S), Department of Sports Science and Clinical Biomechanics, invites applications for a 1 year part-time position as research assistant (60%) to be filled as of 1 October 2022 or as soon as possible thereafter.

We are seeking applicants with a Master’s Degree to work on a project funded by the World Anti-Doping Agency.

During the project, the research assistant will be responsible for familiarising themselves with the anti-doping literature, survey a group of anti-doping researchers, and collect and analyse data from Danish adult athletes and Danish coaches who are able to complete questionnaires in English. The research assistant will also collaborate with Anti-Doping Danmark and project partners in Sweden and Norway who will also collect the same data for the project.

Requirements for the project are:

a) very good command of written and oral English
b) some prior experience working with sport populations
c) some prior experience with collecting and analysing quantitative data


There is no requirement for prior knowledge of the anti-doping literature but the research assistant is expected to read extensively on the topic during the first month of the employment.

The successful applicant will be employed in accordance with the agreement between the Ministry of Finance and AC (the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations).
