The Department of Topological Quantum Chemistry at the Max Planck Institute for Chemical Physics of Solids in Dresden offers a full time Postdoctoral position (m/f/d)
Requirements
- Understanding of superconductivity and chemical bonding
- Comprehensive background in inorganic materials synthesis
- Handling of toxic and air sensitive materials
- Techniques to characterize materials and measure their physical properties at low temperatures
- Analyze and understand experimental results
Qualifications and skills
- University degree and PhD in physics, chemistry or material science
- Ability to work in a team and interdisciplinary environment
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Background in quantum phenomena arising from different types of lattices
- Hands-on experience in single crystal growth
