About Myfab Uppsala
Myfab Uppsala provides equipment and processes for the fabrication of structures and components at nanometer-scale dimensions, as well as for materials analysis and characterization. The operations are mainly conducted in a 2 000 m² cleanroom housing more than 150 instruments. Examples of instrument groups include lithography, dry etching, thin film deposition, and electron microscopy.
The laboratory is an open-access facility with a large number of users. Most users come from research groups in engineering or natural sciences, but many also come from other disciplines, universities, or companies. We continuously support nearly 500 users, making our laboratory and its staff key contributors to leading-edge research. In addition to Uppsala, Myfab is also present at KTH, Chalmers, and Lund University.
The staff at Myfab Uppsala are responsible for operating the laboratory and its equipment, as well as providing various forms of hands on user support. We are approximately 10 employees directly employed at the laboratory, with several additional staff seconded part-time from research groups.
We are now seeking a Senior Research Engineer responsible for technical operations and user support related to a number of research instruments.
